Pumpkin Bread


Pumpkin Bread is one of the fall favorites. It’s super easy to make and takes only 1 hour and 15 for minutes to cook and only 20 minutes to prepare! And it makes 1 loaf of bread or 1 ½ dozen of small muffins. To make the pumpkin you’ll need: all-purpose flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, salt, sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, fresh pumpkin, and pumpkin seeds. How-to:

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit

Step 2: Sift 2 cups of the flour with 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of baking soda with ½ teaspoon of salt. 

Step 3: In a separate bowl, mix 1 ½ cups of sugar along with ¾ cups of vegetable oil, 3 large eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Then combine both mixtures and fold in the 3 cups of shredded pumpkin and 1 cup of toasted pumpkin seeds togethe

Step 4: After all the ingredients are mixed together pour the mix into a non-stick 9 by 5 by3 inch loaf pan

                *If the pan is not non-stick coat it with butter and flour.

Step 5: Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. When done cooking insert a knife in the middle of the loaf and the knife should come out clean

Step 6: Cool for 15 minutes and turn out onto a cooling rack. Cool completely.

                *If making muffins, temperature should be at 325 degrees Fahrenheit as well BUT bake for 30 minutes instead.
